• Donate Life Night with the Battle Born Derby Demons
  April 16, 2011 @ 5:00 pm – 8:00pm
  Lawlor Events Center on the UNR campus
  Reno’s premier women’s flat track roller derby team, the Battle Born Derby Demons, are set to take on Shasta Roller Derby and The UnDead Bettys in “DERBYLAND”.  The event will feature local live music, awesome vendors and amazing roller derby action!
  The pre bout beer garden opens at 4:00pm with doors opening at 5:00pm.  Skating starts at 6:00pm.
  Tickets to this double header are $15, $12 for ages 6-12 and as always, FREE for 5 & under.  Discounts for Students/Military with ID.  Tickets are available through Lawlor Events Center, www.tickets.com or your favorite Demon.  Season passes are still available for $70.  This gets you in to all currently scheduled home bouts for less than a child’s admission.
  A portion of the proceeds go to The Transplant Network.

  Sparks Marina
  Numerous healthcare and community organizations will come together to promote organ and tissue donation awareness at the fourth annual Donate Life Walk. The 2-mile fun walk will be held at the Sparks Marina and will be hosted by The Transplant Network.  Proceeds from the walk will provide financial aid to local transplant recipients and honor a local donor and donor family.
